Thank you! I'm sick and tired of hearing all this Alabama/Auburn crap! Why won't they schedule us for a game? Because they're scared Troy will make them look bad. I'm not from Alabama so I don't understand why a person will show up to a Troy game all decked out in AL/AU gear. It just drives me crazy! If you're such a big fan of them, go watch their games!

All right ladies and germs it's Friday and I guess it's time I share my thoughts on the the upcoming game with THE Ohio State University and give my official prediction.

Playing on the computer right now is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stdqPT8LvTg Thunderhorse by Dethklok from the Adultswim show Metalocaylypse.

Going into this game Troy is 21 point underdogs, now I expected us to be underdogs, but 21 points? WTF!? Ohio State is a good football team, despite the loss at USC. I know that the OSU we saw play in California last week will NOT be the team that shows up in Columbus this weekend. But, I feel that the spead should have been a lot less than 21.

After hearing the comments of Tressell and OSU players they know all about us, they will be prepared, and we won't be sneaking up on them. It seem that TROY is starting to get the national respect we are looking for.

The keys for a Trojan victory are:

1) Minimize Turnovers-- we can't fumble on the goal line or throw and interception deep in our territory if we want to win.

2) Capitalize on the spread offense-- This is critical. While we have a good defense, it can't soley win the game for us. Three and outs will tire out the defense quickly we have a find a rythum and make plays and the spread offense is the best way to do it.

3) Use the kicking game to pin OSU-- Make them have to go 80+ yards to score, pin them within the 10 and make them fight for every yard.

For once me and the sports "experts" are somewhat in an agreeance. TROY has a fighting chance in this game. I honestly believe this game could go either way.

My prediction is: Troy 35 tOSU 34 in a squeeker. I would feel more confident if we had more fans and the South of the South going because the team seems to do better, even on the road, if the fan base is large and the band is playing for them. Look for us to make headlines either way.

So for those of you that are lucky enough to make the trip to Ohio this weekend be sure to cheer a little bit louder for me. I unfortunately will be stuck at work, but I'll be cheering from my cubical.

Best of luck to TROY, I hope we show our Trojan Pride, get a little more respect, and no one gets injuried.

I agree on the Sound of the South comment. The SOTS has been called the 13th man on the Trojan Defense by Blakeney many time.

I wish the resources were available to send the SOTS up there. It would have been a HUGE showing and a definite battle of the bands.
